Data and AI Engineer

About the role

Alder Group is seeking a Data & AI Engineer to build and lead its enterprise data and AI capability. Reporting to the General Manager – Information, Data & Technology, you will design, develop and own the data platform, analytics and AI solutions that drive smarter decisions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Alder's enterprise data platform, architecture and governance frameworks.
• Build scalable data models, pipelines, integrations and reporting solutions.
• Deliver business insights through Power BI, analytics and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Drive automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Champion data quality, governance and emerging technology opportunities.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker with strong technical capability and experience in enterprise data platforms.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders and translate business needs into data solutions.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Data modelling, integration, reporting and analytics.
• Power BI.
• Experience with platforms such as Fabric, Snowflake or Databricks.
• Knowledge of data governance, automation and AI technologies.
