About the role
BLACKROC is partnering with a leading global organisation to hire two Data Analysts on a 6‑month contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Both roles are based in Brisbane and focus on building data products rather than just reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Finance team: Build and maintain data products for liability and cost reporting, develop audit‑exception detection logic, reconcile data across internal platforms and brand revenue sources, and support broader finance reporting.
- Data team: Strengthen an Analytics‑as‑a‑Product platform, work across Bronze, Silver and Gold data layers in Databricks, stitch disparate datasets into trusted sources, and produce hybrid tables for reporting and analytics.
Required profile
- Strong hands‑on experience with PowerBI and Databricks.
- Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python for data engineering and analytics workflows.
- Builder mindset – comfortable constructing data products in a fast‑paced, sales‑data‑driven environment.
