Data Analyst

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Data Analyst in Adelaide. The role supports the implementation of the program's data management strategy and plans, providing data analysis, reporting and insights to support decision-making, performance monitoring and continuous improvement across the project. The position requires an NV1 security clearance and is a 40-hour week.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the program's data management strategy, standards and plans.
• Collect, validate, maintain and analyse project and program data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualisations to give timely, accurate performance information.
• Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, risks and opportunities.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support project and program decisions.
• Monitor data quality and work with stakeholders to fix data issues and improve data integrity.
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports to meet project and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to understand reporting and analytical needs.
• Ensure data is managed in line with project governance, security and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• NV1 security clearance.

Required skills

• Experience developing dashboards and data visualisations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other reporting or analytics tools.
