Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Police Bank is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to protect its data, systems, and networks from evolving cyber threats. You will work with a broad range of security technologies and collaborate closely with the Cyber Security Team and Infrastructure teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and enhance cyber security solutions across the bank.
• Generate concise vulnerability assessment reports and advise on mitigation strategies.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and apply corrective actions.
• Monitor network traffic and system logs using SIEM tools, develop detection rules and improve threat detection capabilities.
• Perform triage of security incidents, analyse suspicious emails and manage phishing response.
• Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in creating and maintaining security documentation and deliver security awareness training.
• Provide technical support for firewalls, web security services, network identity services, automated patching and remote access solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a cyber security engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SC-200, AZ-500 or MD102.
• Strong understanding of security concepts including encryption, IAM, incident response and network security.
• Familiarity with standards and frameworks like NIST and PCI‑DSS.
