About the role
Join IKEA’s Customer Service Centre in Tempe and be the first point of contact for our customers. You will handle a high volume of inbound enquiries across multiple channels, delivering after‑sales solutions that enhance the IKEA experience.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls, chats, emails and other communication channels within set timeframes.
- Provide cost‑effective after‑sales solutions while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Document all interactions, inquiries and resolutions accurately in the CRM system.
- Investigate complex cases, liaise with IKEA service providers and assess quality or extended‑guarantee claims.
- Apply problem‑solving and resolution techniques to drive customer retention and brand trust.
Required profile
- Availability to work between 8:00 am and 8:30 pm AEST on weekdays and alternating weekends.
- Commitment to a 4‑week training period (Mon–Fri, 9 am–5 pm) before regular rostering.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

- $28.31 base hourly rate plus penalty rates for evenings, weekends and public holidays.
