Customer Service Team Member

About the role

The Customer Service Team Member joins the store front‑line, supporting The Good Guys’ commitment to delivering exceptional service and driving profitable sales. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will handle day‑to‑day store operations while ensuring a positive experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash handling and tender transactions accurately.
• Manage multi‑channel order fulfilment and maintain stock integrity.
• Answer telephone enquiries and provide timely assistance.
• Execute marketing and promotional activities in‑store.
• Support financial performance through effective inventory control and expense management.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a consistent, high‑quality customer experience.
• Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and in‑store presentation.
• Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge via online learning platforms.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash and stock handling.
• Excellent communication skills, both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
