Customer Service Representative - St Marys

About the role

CommBank's Retail Banking Services (RBS) team serves more than 10 million personal and small business customers, and is looking for a Customer Service Representative for its St Marys branch. This is an entry-level position for someone starting a career in banking, working as the public face of the bank. The advertised roster is part-time, 12 hours per week, Monday and Thursday to Friday 11:30am to 3:30pm, with Tuesday and Wednesday off.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customers' transactional banking needs and deliver a seamless customer experience
• Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, bank cheques, transfers and CommFX
• Assist with cash and ATM procedures
• Educate customers on in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Follow bank processes and procedures, including accurate transaction reconciliation, reviewing customers' financial positions and upholding a strong risk culture

Required profile

• A genuine passion for customer service and an interest in improving customers' financial wellbeing
• Ability to ask the right questions, meet customer needs and refer them to the right team members
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative culture
• Ability to work in a busy, commercial retail environment while giving customers holistic solutions
