Customer Service Representative - Mandurah

About the role

The Retail Bank, the public face of CommBank, is looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to join its Mandurah branch. You will work with the Branch Manager and colleagues to deliver a seamless banking experience for customers, referring them to specialists for more complex needs. Rosters are predetermined, and the advertised roster is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations.
• Ask about and respond to customers' transactional needs in the branch so they leave satisfied.
• Follow bank processes and procedures, including accurately reconciling transactions and reviewing customers' financial positions.
• Engage with customers by taking part in community events and fundraising activities.
• Look after the safety and wellbeing of the team.

Required profile

• Ability to ask the right questions, find the right solutions and act with integrity, placing the customer at the centre of everything.
• Passion for service excellence, comfortable working independently but able to refer customers to specialist team members.
• Ability to work in a busy, commercial and driven retail environment while seeing the big picture for customers.
• Genuine passion for the customer and for doing the right thing.
