About the role

The Customer Service Representative will manage a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring that pick‑up and delivery operations run smoothly. You will act as the primary point of contact between customers, carriers, and internal teams, providing timely updates and resolving freight‑related queries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts, scheduling pick‑ups and deliveries.
• Liaise with customers and carriers to meet service requirements.
• Answer calls and respond to customer queries, investigating freight issues as needed.
• Enter data accurately and follow up each phone call with a confirming email.
• Maintain written records of quotes, notations, and bookings.
• Apply account‑management techniques to support a growing client base.
• Control service levels (pick‑up and delivery windows) to optimise client satisfaction daily and weekly.
• Provide feedback to management on account progress, problems, and improvement areas.
• Prioritise urgent bookings and coordinate with carriers for timely consignments.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail when making notations and placing bookings.
• Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with clients and carriers.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
