Customer Service Representative - Hobart (30 hrs/week)

About the role

The Retail Bank, the public face of CommBank, is looking for a part-time Customer Service Representative for its Hobart branch. The role works closely with the Branch Manager and colleagues to deliver a good experience for every customer, and involves referring customers to specialists for more complex needs. Rosters are predetermined, and applicants must be available for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 4:00pm.

Key responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations
• Ask about and respond to customers' transactional needs in the branch so they leave satisfied
• Follow the Bank's processes and procedures, including accurately reconciling transactions and reviewing customers' financial positions
• Engage with customers by taking part in community events and fundraising activities
• Look out for the safety and wellbeing of the team

Required profile

• Ability to ask the right questions, find the right solutions and act with integrity, placing the customer at the centre of everything
• Passion for service excellence, comfortable working independently but able to refer customers to specialist team members
• Ability to work in a busy, commercial and driven retail environment while seeing the big picture for customers
• Genuine passion for the customer and for doing the right thing
