Customer Service Operator – 24/7 Call Centre

About the role

Join an iconic Australian brand as a Customer Service Operator on the national Triple Zero (000) emergency hotline. You will be the calm, reassuring voice that connects Australians in crisis to police, fire or ambulance services, working in a fast‑paced, 24/7 call‑centre environment.

Key responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of inbound emergency calls from across Australia.
• Accurately triage each call and connect the caller to the appropriate Emergency Service Organisation.
• Maintain 100 % data quality and adhere strictly to operational procedures.
• Provide a calm, empathetic and professional response to every caller.
• Participate in ongoing coaching, quality assurance and skill‑development sessions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, call centre, retail or hospitality.
• Ability to stay calm, focused and methodical under pressure.
• Full, uninterrupted availability during the peak December/January period, including public holidays.
• Willingness to work a minimum of three 7‑hour shifts per week, with flexibility for day, afternoon or night rosters.
• Located in or near Windsor, Melbourne, with access to public transport.
