Customer Service Officer

About the role

A well-established, privately owned business supplying industrial products to clients in the mining, construction and industrial sectors is looking for an experienced Customer Service Officer in Kalgoorlie. Working full time, the role is a key point of contact for customers, with a strong focus on answering calls, managing a shared inbox and following up on delivery times. Hours are 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and manage inbound customer calls professionally and resolve enquiries quickly and accurately
• Manage the shared customer service inbox, prioritising and acting on emails promptly
• Follow up on order and delivery times and keep customers informed of order status
• Liaise with the warehouse and purchasing teams to track orders and resolve delivery issues
• Process phone and online sales orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintain and update customer records
• Provide general administrative support as required

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, sales support or administration
• Confident handling of a high volume of customer calls with a professional, friendly manner
• Strong organisational skills to manage a busy shared inbox and multiple priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive follow-up on issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• NetSuite experience highly regarded but not essential
