Customer Service Advisor

About the role

St George, the NSW branch of Westpac, is hiring a Customer Service Advisor in Wagga Wagga. The role supports customers with their banking needs, from everyday transactions to tailored advice, and may include introducing customers to other financial products. It is a full-time position of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with their banking needs and support everyday banking transactions
• Answer customer inquiries and offer tailored solutions
• Identify opportunities to introduce customers to other financial products or services
• Build strong customer relationships through clear, confident communication
• Work as part of a collaborative team

Required profile

• Clear and confident communication with customers
• Strong communication skills and excellent time management
• Ability to work in a team; prior teamwork experience is valued
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm
• No banking experience required: comprehensive training and hands-on guidance are provided
