Customer Service Advisor (Cross-Channel)

About the role

The Department of Customers Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business (CDSB) is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to work from its Rockhampton office. You will deliver a wide range of government services across multiple channels and help improve the overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service interactions via phone, online, and face‑to‑face, covering licensing, registration, deceased estates, vessel registration and other government products.
• Assess customer needs, give accurate information, and direct them to the appropriate service channel or specialist.
• Navigate multiple systems and databases to process transactions, collect and remit monies, and reconcile daily banking remittances.
• Collaborate with team members to meet performance targets and may provide training or mentoring to junior staff.
