Customer Field Technician - nbn

About the role

nbn is looking for a Customer Field Technician based in the Devonport area. This is a customer-facing, autonomous role responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of nbn products and services, mostly on customers' premises. It is a permanent, full-time position open to candidates with full working rights in Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Cabling installation (copper and fibre), including jointing, jumpering and splicing
• Installation of nbn Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
• Fault diagnosis and repair of nbn cabling networks and CPE
• Delivering exceptional customer service in a flexible schedule between 7am and 7pm depending on business needs

Required profile

• Extensive experience with copper, fibre network assurance fault finding or fixed wireless/non-fixed line installs
• Exceptional customer service skills, honesty and integrity, and the ability to be self-managed
• Current and clean driver's licence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full working rights in Australia
