Customer Field Technician I - Adelaide Metro

About the role

nbn is looking for people based in the Adelaide Metro area who enjoy practical, hands-on work and are open to learning something new. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will work independently to complete a variety of tasks across different nbn technologies, including installations, repairs, maintenance and customer support in homes and businesses. Working hours are between 7am and 7pm, with flexibility depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Install copper or fibre cabling and set up customer equipment
• Identify and fix faults
• Support customers in their homes or businesses, keeping them informed throughout the process
• Follow safe work practices and nbn's safety procedures at all times

Required profile

• No previous telecommunications experience needed; full training is provided
• Experience in trades such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, construction, civils, hospitality, manufacturing or customer service is highly valued
• Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and deliver quality work
• Clear communication skills and a current, clean driver's licence
• Full working rights in Australia
