About the role
nbn is looking for hands‑on individuals in the Adelaide Metro area to join as Customer Field Technicians. You will work independently to install, repair and maintain nbn infrastructure in homes and businesses, helping to connect communities to Australia’s digital future.
Key responsibilities
- Install copper or fibre cabling and set up customer equipment.
- Identify and resolve faults, performing repairs and routine maintenance.
- Provide clear, friendly communication to customers throughout each visit.
Required profile
- Enjoy practical, problem‑solving work and comfortable speaking with customers.
- Background in trades or hands‑on roles such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical, construction, hospitality or manufacturing is valued.
- Ability to work independently, manage workload and uphold strong safety standards.
- Current, clean driver’s licence and full working rights in Australia.

- Basic ability to work with tools and follow technical procedures.
- Commitment to safe work practices and following nbn safety procedures.
