Customer Engagement Specialist – Small Business (SA/WA)

About the role

The Customer Engagement Specialist will connect with a high volume of new and existing ANZ small‑business customers to uncover lending opportunities and provide working‑capital solutions. This permanent role (12‑month secondment) is based in South Australia or Western Australia and operates full‑time.

Key responsibilities

• Actively pursue existing small‑business customer leads.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service and solutioning across a wide portfolio of small‑business accounts.
• Apply a broad understanding of ANZ product applications to match customer needs.
• Build and maintain a strong internal network to support sales initiatives.
• Meet and exceed performance targets through outbound, leads‑based calling to both existing and new customers.
• Refer complex cases to specialist teams as required.

Required profile

• Experience in business development and partnership building.
• Ability to understand customer needs and propose relevant banking products (customer solutioning).
• Strong business analysis skills to translate requirements into feasible solutions.
• Effective planning and prioritisation to manage people, processes and technology implications.
