Customer Development Senior Lead – Growth Products

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Development Senior Lead to join our Growth Products team. Reporting to the Head of Underwriting – Growth Products, you will shape profitable product initiatives, ensure compliance with governance standards, and drive the overall product strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement product strategy in partnership with the Head of Underwriting.
• Conduct product trend analysis across relevant product lines.
• Ensure underwriting activities meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver timely decisions and problem‑solving solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Review underwriting rules and tools, recommending improvements.
• Support the achievement of the financial business plan.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, and colleagues.
• Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to underwriters to optimise performance.

Required profile

• Financial modelling background within a product‑focused organisation.
• Proven product analysis experience, having managed or led analysts.
• Working knowledge of underwriting governance, portfolio management and insurance.
• Senior product analyst or product manager experience across multiple business lines or regions.
• Experience implementing processes, systems or tools that require cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong administrative and communication abilities.
• Experience in product development or product management.
• Tertiary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
