Customer Development Manager – Automotive Sales

About the role

Customer Development Managers (CDMs) report to a Channel Manager and collaborate closely with Repco Store Managers to build strong business relationships with trade customers across the Lawnton/Kippa Ring area. The role is sales‑focused, supported by a robust CRM system and promotional activities.

Key responsibilities

• Consult customers, solve problems and understand their needs to drive sales and gross margin performance.
• Manage relationships with approximately 150 trade customers.
• Attend sales meetings, trade shows and training sessions.
• Achieve sales budgets and promote a safety‑first culture, including safe driving behaviours.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, climbing and operating machinery safely.

Required profile

• Ability to thrive in a KPI‑driven environment.
• Sales or customer‑management experience (automotive background preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong relationship‑building skills with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and a passion for automotive.
