Customer Banking Specialist Relief - Greater South West Area

About the role

CommBank is recruiting a Customer Banking Specialist Relief for its Young branch, supporting surrounding branches such as Harden, Yass and Cootamundra. The position is part time, on a 31.25-hour-per-week roster covering Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 4.15pm, with travel required. Rosters are predetermined, so availability must match the advertised schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Have in-depth conversations with every customer about how to support their overall banking needs, including Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice.
• Support customers with enquiries, account maintenance and processing applications for credit products.
• Offer options through education and demonstration of in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Problem solve and provide effective solutions while upholding processes, procedures and a risk-adverse culture.

Required profile

• Proven customer service experience, ideally in financial services, retail or hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial terms clearly.
• Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, act with integrity and put the customer at the centre of everything.
• Ability to work in a busy, commercial and driven retail environment while giving customers holistic solutions.
