Customer Banking Specialist - Moe

About the role

CommBank's Retail Banking Services (RBS) team serves more than 10 million personal and small business customers across Australia. As the Customer Banking Specialist at the Moe branch, you will be the public face of the bank, helping customers with their overall banking needs.

Key responsibilities

• Have in-depth conversations with every customer about how the bank can support their overall banking needs, including Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice.
• Support customers with enquiries, account maintenance and applications for credit products.
• Offer customers options by educating and demonstrating in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Problem solve and provide effective solutions while upholding the bank's processes, procedures and risk-adverse culture.

Required profile

• Proven customer service experience, ideally in financial services, retail or hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial terms clearly.
• Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, act with integrity and put the customer at the centre of everything.
• Ability to work in a busy, commercial and driven retail environment while giving customers holistic solutions.
• Genuine interest in building a career with CommBank and improving customers' financial wellbeing.

Rosters are predetermined; candidates must be available for Monday 9am-4pm, Tuesday 9am-4.30pm, Thursday 9.15am-4.15pm and Friday 8.30am-4.30pm.
