Customer Banking Specialist - Lake Grace (FT or PT)

About the role

The Commonwealth Bank is hiring a Customer Banking Specialist for its Lake Grace branch, working full-time or part-time. The bank operates a multi-channel branch: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday it handles customer enquiries and complaints by telephone and digital channels, while Monday and Wednesday it serves customers face to face. Three rosters are available: Roster 1 (26 hours per week, Mon-Fri mornings and Tue-Wed mornings), Roster 2 (14 hours per week, Mon and Wed mornings), and Roster 3 (full-time, 38 hours per week, Mon-Fri).

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with general banking transactions and answer questions and queries.
• Build a personal connection with customers through face-to-face conversation and direct channels.
• Help customers use in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial needs.
• Process applications for personal loans, credit cards and associated products.
• Use tools to capture customer feedback and act on service gaps to improve service.
