Customer Banking Specialist - Castle Hill

About the role

CommBank's Retail Banking Services team serves more than 10 million personal and small business customers, and is looking for a Customer Banking Specialist for its Castle Towers branch in Castle Hill. This is a part-time position of 18 hours per week on a fixed roster covering Monday to Friday, 11.00am to 4.00pm, with Wednesday off. Rosters are predetermined, so availability must match the schedule before applying.

Key responsibilities

• Have in-depth conversations with every customer about how to meet their overall banking needs, including Home Loans, Business Banking and Financial Advice.
• Support customers with enquiries, account maintenance and applications for credit products.
• Offer customers options by educating and demonstrating in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Problem solve and provide effective solutions while upholding processes, procedures and a risk-adverse culture.

Required profile

• Proven customer service experience, ideally in financial services, retail or hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial terms clearly.
• Ability to ask the right questions, find solutions, act with integrity and put the customer at the centre of everything.
• Ability to work in a busy, commercial and driven retail environment while giving customers holistic solutions.
• Genuine interest in building a career with CommBank and improving customers' financial wellbeing.
• Chinese language skills highly desirable.
