Crushing / Rotating Specialist - FIFO Perth

About the role

Linkforce is recruiting Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers with specialist experience in crushers or rotating maintenance to support shutdown, maintenance and project work across Australia's largest mine sites. This is a casual FIFO role based in Perth, WA, with access to consistent work across 90+ client sites and competitive rates.

Key responsibilities

• Work on high-priority fixed plant assets such as crushers, driveline systems, pumps and rotating equipment
• Carry out maintenance and repairs in line with permit to work and isolation procedures
• Join either the Crushing team or the Rotating Maintenance team depending on your background

Required profile

• Australian or New Zealand recognised trade qualification
• Working at heights and confined space certificates (within 2 years)
• Construction white card
• Current Australian driver's licence and valid Australian work rights
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
• Crushing specialists: proven experience with cone, jaw and gyratory crushers, concave, hydroset and eccentric replacements, and crusher lubrication systems
• Rotating specialists: proven experience with driveline replacements (conveyor motors and gearboxes), Warman and GEHO pump overhauls, heat inductors for bearing and coupling replacements, and laser alignment and thermal expansion with Pruftechnik tools
• Highly desirable: previous mining experience, client inductions (Rio Tinto, Fortescue, BHP, etc.), additional trade or high-risk tickets

What we offer

• Pay from $65.00 DS and $71.00 NS per hour, paid fortnightly
