Crushing - Mobile Plant Operator (FIFO 2.1 Roster)

About the role

MLG Oz, an ASX-listed contractor with more than 1,400 employees across over 30 sites, is hiring experienced, safety-focused Crushing Mobile Plant Operators for a FIFO 2.1 roster in Perth, Western Australia. The role is hands-on: you will own the equipment, run the crushing and screening plant and keep production on track.

Key responsibilities

• Load material into loaders and stockpile it
• Feed and run the crushing and screening plant efficiently, managing feed and tailing processes from the screen
• Complete detailed pre-start checks and documentation each shift
• Clean cabs, wash windows, grease lube points, change tyres and crusher wear parts, refuel and wash machinery, and inspect ground-engaging tools
• Work with site leadership to keep production on track and uphold strict safety standards

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of crushing and screening experience
• Experience running a crushing circuit (monitoring throughput, adjusting cones and feeder speeds) highly desirable
• Proven experience operating loaders and excavators
• Able to work independently and make sound decisions on site
• Valid Australian driver's licence; must pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen and national police clearance
