Credit Risk Analyst & Manager Opportunities (Permanent & Fixed‑Term)

About the role

ING is expanding its Retail Credit Risk team in Sydney and is seeking expressions of interest from experienced risk professionals for both permanent and fixed‑term positions at analyst and manager levels. The role focuses on leveraging data, analytics and technology to provide risk insights that shape business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks across retail and SME lending portfolios.
• Deliver actionable risk insights, reporting and analysis to support business and risk decision‑making.
• Partner with Risk, Data and Technology stakeholders to enhance data, reporting and analytical capabilities.
• Drive improvements through automation, data‑quality initiatives and innovative reporting solutions.
• Contribute to strategic projects that strengthen risk management, governance and portfolio performance.

Required profile

• Experience in credit risk analytics, portfolio monitoring, risk reporting or risk data management within financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a talent for translating complex data into clear business insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
