Corporate Valuations Specialist - Senior Manager, Deals

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring a Senior Manager in its Deals Corporate Valuations Advisory (CVA) practice, based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. You will lead business valuations and financial models on complex transactions and corporate decisions, then turn the numbers into advice for clients in private equity, infrastructure, real estate and corporate Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex valuation engagements across businesses, equity interests and financial instruments
• Own and challenge financial reporting and tax valuations, including purchase price allocations, fair value measurement, impairment testing and share-based payments
• Advise senior stakeholders on cost of capital, capital structure, deal pricing and value assessment
• Work with clients and deal teams to identify value drivers, pressure-test assumptions and support investment and divestment decisions
• Analyse portfolio performance to highlight growth, margin improvement and capital efficiency opportunities
• Manage engagements end-to-end, from scoping and project management to technical review and client communication
• Coach and develop the team and help grow the practice

Required profile

• Experience in core business valuations and managing client engagements across diverse industries
• Transaction-focused advisory experience, including deal value assessment, cost of capital analysis and capital management
• Relevant qualifications such as CA/CPA, CFA Finsia, MBA, Masters in Finance or Applied Finance
• Integrity, strong relationships with colleagues and clients, and confidence with AI and digital tools
