Corporate Obligations Governance Leader

About the role

Marsh is seeking a senior leader to join the People & Investments team, overseeing corporate obligations across the Pacific region. This hybrid role is based in Melbourne or Sydney with at least three days per week in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee key corporate obligations and commitments through governance forums and reporting cadences.
• Coordinate communication, monitoring, approvals and progression of obligations across business and support functions.
• Partner with legal, risk, compliance and business teams to improve governance and reporting processes.
• Design and embed practical workflows that support repeatable delivery across multiple departments.
• Support related‑party service provider governance and accountability arrangements.
• Work with executives and Centres of Excellence to build understanding of Australian legislative and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Broad business experience in commercial, operational, strategy or general management roles, preferably in complex, regulated environments.
• Experience managing corporate obligations and governance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and transformation initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence influencing senior audiences.
