About the role
Trane Technologies, a global leader in climate solutions for buildings, homes and transportation, is hiring a Controls Technician / Controls Engineer in Brisbane. The role is on-site, five days a week, and covers project management and delivery of control projects, technical support to technicians, and support for the Service Sales and Product Sales teams. It also includes estimating control service agreements, order processing and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain existing BMS sites
- Prepare quotes for equipment repairs and upgrades
- Develop and commission small to large BMS projects
- Program controllers and system software
- Prepare and maintain site documentation
- Prepare reports for completed work
- Assist the sales team on the pricing of BMS projects
- Support the sales team in achieving its targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Follow company EHS policies and procedures
Required profile
- Experienced HVAC controls technician or controls engineer
- Restricted electrical licence (essential)
- Trane Tracer experience desirable but not essential
