Control Systems Project Manager – Brisbane

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Control Systems Project Manager to lead industrial automation initiatives for a major mining and resources client in Brisbane. The role will oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through to commissioning and hand‑over, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of control system upgrades and new deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and monitor control system projects, managing scope, schedule, budget and risk.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, vendors and site personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards throughout the project.
• Drive technical design and integration of SCADA, PLC and automation solutions.
• Report progress to senior stakeholders and manage change requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing control system projects in mining, processing plants or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of operational technology environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
