Contracts Administrator

About the role

Fletch Collective, a BESIX Watpac company, is expanding in Queensland and is looking for a Contracts Administrator in Brisbane. The role covers tendering, contract preparation and the financial administration of construction and fitout projects.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the Project Manager so that internal cost controls are maintained.
• Run the trade package tendering process: compile and approve tender documents and the proposed tender list, issue documents, receive tenders, compare them and submit tender recommendations for approval.
• Prepare contract documents for each trade package and subcontract, and administer project finances through the company's cost management system.
• Prepare monthly consolidated reports covering cash flow forecasting, variation status, contractual matters and cost analysis.
• Administer variation claims, progress claims and other financial matters under the Head Contract and Trade package/subcontract agreements.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, or relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience in subcontract and head contract administration on construction and/or fitout projects.
• Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships with all levels of the business and stakeholders.
