Contract Manager for Major Western Sydney Metro Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead contract administration for a $5 billion public‑private partnership delivering new metro stations, trains and a maintenance facility in Western Sydney. You will ensure contracts are executed on time, within budget and to the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate contractual performance against KPI scorecards and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Identify, escalate and remediate contract and service delivery risks.
• Liaise with the legal team to resolve disputes and claims in line with statutory obligations.
• Administer contracts, monitor supplier performance and manage telecommunications contract elements.
• Support Commercial Managers through the source‑to‑contract process, including variations and new services.
• Prepare and maintain contract management documentation such as plans, risk frameworks, variation records and insurance certificates.
• Maintain stakeholder and supplier relationships to minimise risk and maximise contract value.
• Ensure compliance with rail safety legislation and other regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale infrastructure contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract law, dispute resolution and risk management.
• Ability to develop and implement contract management processes and strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
