About the role
Alder Group is seeking a Contract Administrator to support the delivery of commercial construction projects across Queensland and Northern NSW. You will manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and supporting cost control.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, negotiate and administer contracts with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify contract‑related risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage cost control for head contract claims, variations and subcontract claims, and produce monthly cost reports.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure proper filing and retrieval.
- Resolve disputes promptly and continuously improve contract management processes.
Required profile
- Construction management degree or equivalent tertiary/trade qualification.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in contracts administration with complex negotiations.
- Strong understanding of contract law and regulations.
Required skills
- Proficiency with contract management software.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Familiarity with Jobpac (highly regarded).
