About the role

Join Northern Trust’s Private Equity Operations team as a senior member of the investor administration group. You will support a large secondary fund client, handling cash management, investor administration and reporting while ensuring client KPIs are met.

Key responsibilities

• Provide premier client service, building strong relationships with the Investment Advisor and third‑party contacts.
• Manage cash‑management tasks, including processing payments, bank reconciliations and ad‑hoc cash items.
• Oversee the full investor administration cycle: call/distribution processing, transfer handling, contact updates and audit confirmations.
• Monitor fund closing activities, tax reporting and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Identify process efficiencies, work with technology teams to resolve issues and improve controls.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of senior fund administration experience, preferably with signatory authority.
• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent financial services background.
• Experience preparing financial statements under AASB/IFRS and handling audit finalisation.
• Strong organisational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Knowledge of Investran (advantage).
• Understanding of AU distribution calculations for trusts and relevant regulatory frameworks.
