Construction Trade and Labour Recruiter

About the role

GRES Engineering Services Limited, a process engineering consulting and contracting company serving the mining and mineral processing industries, is looking for an experienced Construction Trade and Labour Recruiter to join its Ascot head office. The company is growing due to major project awards and is recruiting across all areas of business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for trades and labour roles across Australia
• Deliver a high level of service to internal stakeholders and candidates
• Partner with the mobilisation team for a smooth recruitment and onboarding experience
• Develop and run sourcing strategies to attract a high volume of quality candidates
• Run the full recruitment lifecycle, from job briefing through to placement
• Interview candidates thoroughly to assess skills, experience and cultural fit
• Work with hiring managers to understand role requirements and tailor recruitment approaches
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline

Required profile

• Proven experience as an internal recruiter, ideally in construction, or an agency recruitment consultant looking for a change
• Experience recruiting construction trades and labour such as fitters, electricians, BMWs and riggers
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights and current residence in Perth
