Construction Supervisor – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our Darwin‑based infrastructure team. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee site‑based construction activities on Defence and civil projects across the Northern Territory, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor sections or packages of work to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards.
• Liaise with subcontractor supervisors and coordinate works in progress.
• Manage works in accordance with the Project Management Plan.
• Lead and coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Drive productivity and manage the performance of crews and subcontractors.
• Champion safety through the “Safety is My Way” initiative.
• Conduct and participate in site meetings, pre‑starts, toolbox talks and inductions.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and authorities.
• Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to team members.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a civil construction supervisory role.
• Proven ability to deliver sections of work on time and within budget while maintaining quality.
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing large crews.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating resources across site operations.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
