Construction Supervisor – Build What’s Next

About the role

As a Construction Supervisor with Venture Smart, you will lead on‑site delivery of civil, electrical and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) projects across brownfield sites. The role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in dynamic construction environments and is committed to safety, quality and timely project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities across civil, electrical and ITS scopes.
• Coordinate contractors, work crews and subcontractors to maintain project momentum.
• Ensure work is performed safely, on schedule and to specification.
• Support planning and scheduling activities with allocated planning time.
• Resolve on‑site issues and keep projects progressing smoothly.
• Maintain clear communication with project teams, stakeholders and clients.

Required profile

• Current driver’s licence and ability to operate or supervise plant equipment.
• First Aid and CPR + LVR certification.
• Experience working in brownfield environments.
• Strong communication and team‑leadership abilities.
• Confidence supervising civil and construction works.

Required skills

• Operation or supervision of HIABs and dogging equipment.
• Experience with civil and plant equipment.
• Electrical trade background or ITS experience.
• Electrical licence and/or Certificate III (highly desirable).
