Construction Site Manager

About the role

Step into one of Heidelberg Materials’ first Construction Site Manager positions in Southeast Queensland. You will lead on‑site activities, manage subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and support project delivery from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day on‑site operations to maintain safe and compliant work environments.
• Coordinate subcontractors and align delivery with the master programme and project budget.
• Support and monitor site preparation activities.
• Maintain strong safety standards across all site works.
• Provide hands‑on assistance when required, balancing leadership with practical involvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role or 4 years in the construction industry.
• Relevant qualification such as a bachelor’s degree, Diploma of Building & Construction, or trade qualification (desirable).
• Strong organisational skills with a cost‑conscious mindset.
• Practical, safety‑focused and confident in coordinating and leading contractors on‑site.
• Comfortable taking a hands‑on approach and thriving in a dynamic, site‑based environment.
