Construction Manager – Transmission Project (FIFO)

About the role

Zenith Energy is delivering a landmark 532MW hybrid renewable power system for Northern Star Resources near Kalgoorlie, WA. We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead the on‑site delivery of the transmission component of this project, working on a FIFO 2:1 roster.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all on‑site construction activities from mobilisation through to project completion, including three substations and four 132 kV buried transmission circuits.
• Manage multiple subcontractors, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently and to project specifications.
• Deliver construction milestones on time while meeting quality and cost objectives.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Zenith Energy’s HSE Management System and Australian Standards.
• Coordinate daily pre‑starts, subcontractor meetings and construction planning activities.
• Monitor project KPIs (safety, schedule, quality, productivity) and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, mine‑site management and other stakeholders.
• Prepare construction reports, progress updates and site documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum five years’ experience managing civil or infrastructure construction projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams in remote, fast‑paced environments.
• Strong decision‑making and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
