Construction Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of key work packages on the Lumsden Point project in Port Hedland, Australia. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing construction activities to ensure safe, high-quality and on-time outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all construction engineering activities across assigned scopes.
• Develop and implement construction methodologies, delivery strategies and detailed project plans.
• Oversee project schedules, cost control and cash‑flow management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage complex interfaces.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks throughout design and construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, quality and sustainability standards.
• Manage procurement, contracts and subcontractor performance.
• Drive innovation, value engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Engage with clients, consultants and delivery partners and provide accurate reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 10+ years’ experience on major civil or infrastructure projects with strong site‑based background.
• Proven track record as a Construction Manager or Project Manager delivering large‑scale works.
