Construction Manager - Electrical

About the role

INTEC Energy Solutions is expanding its electrical construction capability to support renewable energy and electrical infrastructure projects across Australia. The Construction Manager – Electrical will lead construction delivery for a Queensland project, overseeing self‑perform works and specialist subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate electrical construction activities, resources, work fronts and sequencing to achieve project milestones.
• Lead supervisors, foremen and site personnel while managing subcontractor performance, productivity and compliance.
• Ensure electrical works meet project specifications, quality requirements, relevant standards and site safety expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, civil, solar PV, BESS and commissioning teams to resolve issues and support successful handover.
• Develop delivery systems, improve construction performance and mentor personnel as the internal electrical division grows.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years in electrical construction, including senior supervisory or construction management roles.
• Experience in electrical infrastructure such as HV, substations, transmission, distribution or renewable energy projects.
• Proven ability to manage construction programmes, resources, productivity and multiple contractors.
• Strong focus on electrical safety, quality assurance and compliance.
• Leadership, communication skills and relevant qualifications, a current White Card and driver’s licence.
