Construction Manager – Adelaide

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Construction Manager to lead our residential construction operations in Adelaide. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for delivering homes safely, efficiently, profitably and to the highest quality standards while driving continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all construction operations across a large‑scale residential building business.
• Deliver homes safely, efficiently, profitably and to the highest quality standards.
• Improve build times, productivity and throughput while reducing waste and defects.
• Strengthen planning, workflow and standardisation using Lean principles.
• Develop people, build future leaders and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Drive operational excellence and accountability across the business.

Required profile

• Proven operational leader with experience managing large teams in residential construction or comparable large‑scale environments (commercial construction, manufacturing, logistics, production, supply‑chain).
• Commercially minded, respected by peers and able to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop high‑performing teams.
• Track record of delivering measurable improvements in productivity, cycle time, quality and customer outcomes.
