Concreter

About the role

Stabilised Pavements Group, a nationally recognised pavement construction, rehabilitation and maintenance company with depots across Australia, is hiring a Concreter in Bridgewater. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work with the leading hand concreters and foreman to set up operations that meet production targets within a given timeframe. The position is permanent and full time, paid by the hour with allowances.

Key responsibilities

• All aspects of concrete finishing
• Basic formwork installation
• Operating and maintaining vehicles and equipment
• Performing manual tasks such as digging, shovelling and lifting
• Working in a team and assisting colleagues as needed
• Demonstrating and implementing safe work practices

Required profile

• Experience in concreting and formwork
• White card
• Valid class C driver's licence (MR highly regarded)
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to travel to various job sites
• Punctual and reliable; able to undergo pre-employment medical
