Concrete Plant Manager

About the role

Heidelberg Materials is seeking an experienced, customer‑oriented Concrete Plant Manager to lead the Hymix Bunbury concrete operation. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will ensure safe, efficient and profitable plant performance while delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a strong safety‑first culture across all plant operations.
• Manage daily concrete production and dispatch to meet customer requirements.
• Control budgets, reporting and performance metrics to achieve business objectives.
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity and cost‑control initiatives while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
• Oversee plant maintenance programs to maximise equipment reliability.
• Lead, coach and develop plant employees, fostering a high‑performance team culture.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a concrete, quarry, manufacturing, logistics or industrial operation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, coach and develop teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Sound commercial acumen and experience managing operational costs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in the construction materials industry is highly regarded.
