Concrete & Pit Building Labourer

About the role

Shadforth is expanding its concrete structures crew and is looking for dedicated individuals to work on stormwater manholes, gully pits, head walls, wing walls and footpaths across large civil projects in Moreton Bay. The role offers stable, long‑term employment within a supportive, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Construct stormwater manholes and gully pits
• Tie steel reinforcement
• Finish concrete works to specification
• Read and interpret construction plans
• Order concrete and testing materials
• Liaise with site teams and supervisors

Required profile

• Experience in manhole or pit construction, or willingness to learn
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Hold a Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Confined Space Entry certificate
• Available for 10‑hour days, Monday‑Friday, with occasional Saturdays
