Concrete Cutter – On‑site Cutting & Drilling Specialist

About the role

Slice It Right Pty Ltd is seeking a full‑time Concrete Cutter to join its on‑site team. You will operate a range of cutting and drilling equipment to deliver precise cuts in concrete, asphalt and related materials on residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret job plans, measurements and markings.
• Prepare work areas and set up cutting and drilling machinery.
• Perform concrete cutting, core drilling and saw cutting to specification.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Maintain a tidy, organised site and ensure proper cleanup after work.
• Coordinate with supervisors, clients and other trades to meet project timelines.
• Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in concrete cutting, core drilling or related trades.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and WHS regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret job plans with high attention to detail.
• Physical capability to perform manual labour, including lifting and working outdoors.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport; forklift or other machinery tickets are an advantage.
• Effective communication, punctuality and a professional approach to clients and team members.
