Concrete Allocator / Scheduler

About the role

Hymix Concrete, part of Heidelberg Materials, is looking for an energetic and highly organised Concrete Allocator / Scheduler to join its Customer Service Centre in Southport, Queensland. The role links customers, drivers, plants and operational teams by coordinating daily concrete deliveries, managing changing priorities and ensuring customers receive reliable service. It suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, solves problems on the fly and makes confident decisions under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and allocate concrete deliveries across the network
• Manage fleet utilisation and delivery efficiency
• Monitor daily operations and adjust schedules in real time
• Support customers with orders, enquiries and changes
• Communicate with drivers, batch plants, sales teams and operational stakeholders
• Maintain accurate system information and delivery records
• Identify issues early and implement practical solutions
• Support safe and efficient operations across the business

Required profile

• Experience in scheduling, allocation, logistics, transport, operations or customer service
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to stay calm, focused and decisive under pressure
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong problem-solving ability and a customer-first mindset
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement

Required skills

• Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology
• Concrete delivery scheduling and allocation

What we offer

• Salary of $80,000 - $90,000 plus superannuation
• 45-hour week with rotating shifts between 4:00am and 5:00pm
• One Saturday in three
