About the role
Join AIG’s Business Package team as a Complex Claims Examiner, managing a portfolio of SME Property and Casualty claims. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers and customers, to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective claim resolutions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage 120‑160 complex SME Property and Casualty claims, ensuring proactive and efficient handling.
- Determine indemnity, liability and quantum early to drive matters to finalisation.
- Oversee external service providers to achieve cost‑effective outcomes and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, brokers, sponsors and other external parties.
Required profile
- Experience as a Liability and/or Property Claims examiner, or a junior lawyer seeking an insurer role.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a team.
- Full‑time working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available).
