Community Podiatrist – Aged Care, North Melbourne

About the role

MARS Healthcare is recruiting an experienced Podiatrist for a community team serving clients across the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. The role offers autonomy, variety and a sustainable workload, with a package of about $130,000 and a company car. The employer is ideally looking for a full-time podiatrist but is open to candidates available for a minimum of 3 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mobile podiatry services to clients in their homes and community settings
• Manage a varied caseload across aged care, geriatric and general podiatry, with around 10 clients per day and 6 hours of face-to-face clinical work
• Care for clients with routine foot care, preventative foot health, mobility and functional support needs, and provide client education and individualised care planning
• Build ongoing, meaningful relationships with clients

Required profile

• Qualified Podiatrist with 1.5-2+ years of clinical experience
• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience or interest in community and/or aged care
• Ability to work autonomously and manage your own day
• Current Australian driver's licence
